Adam Doerr

Adam Doerr represents corporate and individual clients in class actions and other high-stakes litigation matters. He has handled fraud, securities, shareholder and employment class actions and is experienced with issues ranging from motions practice and class certification to settlements and appeals in federal and state courts. Adam also chairs Robinson Bradshaw’s Class Actions Practice Group.
Adam’s class action experience includes:
• Representing a major retailer in a national class action brought by tens of thousands of individual store managers, including multiple interlocutory appeals to the Fourth Circuit and a petition for certiorari to the U.S. Supreme Court. Scott et al. v. Family Dollar Stores.
• Obtaining decertification of a nationwide class action seeking damages exceeding $100 million on the eve of trial. Foster v. CEVA Freight, LLC.
• Representing national and regional banks, pharmaceutical companies and boards of directors in numerous lawsuits by shareholder challenging mergers and acquisitions with public companies and going private transactions with private equity sponsors.
